Dr. R.C. Sproul's health in critical condition

Dr. R.C. Sproul, noted theologian and founder of Ligonier Ministries, has been in ICU for about a week.  In the past year, he has had respiratory problems and wore an oxygen tube.  When things got worse last week, he was hospitalized with that they thought was pneumonia.  That was soon ruled out, and the diagnosis was that he labored breathing was part of the same respiratory problem that he already had.  Below is the latest update on his condition.

Dr. Sproul is not improving as we had hoped and so these next few days are critical. He has a fever today due to the infection he has been fighting. Moreover, he is not decreasing in his reliance on the ventilator to support his breathing.
